Aleks Slota (b. 1978, PL, lives and works in Berlin, DE) is a multidisciplinary artist working in the mediums of performance, sound, and digital art. Slota has presented performances in traditional and alternative spaces such as: Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac (FR), ruruHaus (DE), Musrara Mix Festival (IL), Acción!MAD festival (ES), Performance Crossings festival (CZ), Giardini Pubblici Cagliari (IT), Haus der Statistik (DE), Vierte Welt (DE), Kunstquartier Bethanien (DE), SWAB art fair (ES), Sophiensaele (DE), and at Excentricités VI performance festival (FR) among others. In 2021 he was awarded the Deutscher Künstlerbund Neustart grant for digital art and in 2023 a production grant from the Berlin Senat for the performance project „Sculpting Inside”.
Slota works predominantly in live performance, using his voice and body, noise generators, micro samplers and effect pedals, he creates haunting atmospheres or, instead, constructs a partly-improvised narratives, inviting the audience to explore politically and emotionally loaded topics. Often, his work is born out of highly personal material, which creates a resonance and connection with the members of the audience via the exposure of that which is oftentimes unseen, unspoken and vulnerable. Sometimes the connection with the public is also awkward and uncomfortable, destabilizing the audience/performer relationship and the performance space at large. Noisy, risky, dark, and irreverent – these are some of the adjectives that describe the feel of Aleks Slota’s live shows.

bio: karolina czarnecka, zanim wydała książkę „resident angel” (SDK 2025), wystąpiła w Farbach z materiałem pt. „plecy brzuchy grzbiety”. w grudniu mijają dwa lata od tego wydarzenia, a ostatnio czarneckiej udało się nawet sklecić kolejny poemat. jego bohaterka i jej koń na wysokich nogach poszukują puppy eyes. czym/kim one są? skąd wziąć konia w centrum betonowego miasta? przyjdźcie się przekonać!
Lulu
bio: artystx dźwiękowx oraz osoba aktywistyczna eksplorująca muzykę eksperymentalną oraz dźwięk konceptualny. Tworzy ścieżki dźwiękowe/muzykę dla różnych form sztuki (performanse, czytanie performatywne etc.). Angazuje się w projekty skupione wokół ludzkich relacji, konstruktów społecznych, ekologii. Muzyka/dźwięk oraz praca z ciałem są ujściem frustracji i sposobem na odnalezienie się w trudnej polskiej rzeczywistości.
